Dans la hiérarchie de la classe, Hanna se trouve tout en bas. Le leader, Abdul, forme un couple branché avec Anne, la plus jolie. Hanna en a assez de se faire harceler par Abdul et son ami Faris et prétend être enceinte d'Abdul. Ce mensonge lie de facon inattendue Abdul et Hanna et leur permet d'entrer brièvement dans la vie de l'autre. 
Pourtant, ce lien se brise quand la jalouse Anne découvre ce mensonge. Bien qu'Abdul et Hanna se soient rapprochés, Abdul doit donner une leçon à Hanna pour ne pas mettre en péril son rôle de leader. La vengeance d'Abdul est dûre mais les coups qu'il lui donne ne parviennent pas détruire le début de confiance qui s'est installé entre les deux. Au contraire : la violence que Hanna doit supporter l'aide à gagner le respect de la classe.

Hanna hat es einfach nicht drauf. In der Klassenhierarchie steht sie an unterster Stelle. Ganz oben steht Abdul, der mit der hübschen Anne ein stylisches Paar bildet. Doch Hanna ist es leid sich von Abdul und seinem Freund Faris dissen zu lassen. Sie konfrontiert Abdul mit einer angeblichen Schwangerschaft. Die erschwindelte Not schweißt die beiden zusammen. Jeder erhält einen kurzen Einblick in die Lebenswelt des anderen. 
Doch die Gemeinschaft zerbricht, als die eifersüchtige Anne die Lüge aufdeckt. Obwohl sich Abdul und Hanna menschlich näher gekommen sind, muss Abdul Hanna eine Lektion erteilen, um seine Position als Klassenleader nicht zu gefährden. Abduls Rache ist hart, doch die Prügel können das zarte Band zwischen den beiden nicht zerstören. Im Gegenteil: die massive Gewalt, die Hanna über sicher ergehen lassen muss, entpuppt sich als ein Adelsprädikat, das ihr dazu verhilft, die Akzeptanz der Klasse und somit Selbstachtung zu gewinnen.

Hanna just isn't cool. She's right at the bottom of the pecking order in her class. At the top of the pile is Abdul, who makes a stylish couple with pretty Anne. But Hanna's tired of being dissed by Abdul and his mate Faris. She confronts Abdul, claiming she's pregnant. The two of them bond through this faked crisis. Each of them gains a brief glimpse of the other's life. 
However this harmony is shattered when Anne, green with jealousy, reveals the lie. Although Abdul and Hanna have grown closer, Abdul has to teach Hanna a lesson if he doesn't want to risk his position as top dog in the class. Abdul's revenge is harsh but the blows do not destroy the ties of affection between the two. On the contrary: the extreme violence Hanna goes through ends up revealing her strength of character, helping her to gain acceptance from the class and develop self-respect.
