Double Elvis is a new wave rock duo named after Andy Warhol?s iconic 1963 artwork. The band opens new gates in modern rock by mixing machines to live wired guitars and industrial percussions. With a huge ?wall of sound?-style and epic choruses. The music of Double Elvis, which has made its reputation for being both darkly emotional and unrelentingly loud, combines the driving force of bands like Smashing Pumpkins with the atmosphere of The Cure, tied together with unique soundscapes and lyrics. At the moment Double Elvis are putting the finishing touch to their debut album recorded in Chicago with drummer Matt Walker (Morrissey,Garbage,Smashing Pumpkins) and producer Sean O'Keefe (Fall Out Boy,Von Bondies).
