A film that brings us through a day´s journey, or a dream, of two young men who have to be "back by six". From the physical movement of their own bodies to the bones of a tram, to the range of characters they meet throughout the afternoon and the effect of their exchanges, these two young men offer a glimpse of the extraordinary details that make up the magic and loss of everyday life.

Peter Connelly

was born in Rochester, New York. Since graduating from NYU´s film program in 1993, he has worked in the film sector as a set-recordist, sound designer, and as an actor. In 2007, he began working in theatre as well, both as a sound designer and actor, primarily with Superamas. 'Framing and Unframing', his first independent short film as a writer and director, premiered in Locarno in 2001. 'Back by 6' is his second short and premiered at the Berlinale in 2011. // Peter Connelly est né à Rochester, New York. Après être sorti diplômé de NYU en 1993, il travailla dans le secteur du film en tant que set-recordist, ingénieur son et acteur. En 2007 il commence à travailler également dans le théâtre, toujours en tant qu´ingénieur son et acteur, surtout avec Superamas. 'Framing and Unframing' (encadrement et désencadrement), son premier court-métrage independent en tant que scénariste et réalisateur est primé à Locarno en 2001. 'Back by 6' est le second court-métrage et fit sa première aux Berlinales en 2011.
