«Le Fils de Pute» est une tragi-comédie qui débute dans la chambre de Stella, où elle recoit un mystérieux client à la barbe blanche. Ce dernier lui fait la promesse de revenir un jour pour chercher son fils !
De fait, Stella tombe enceinte ; c'est du moins ce que les tests de grossesse semblent indiquer. Toutefois, les médecins ainsi qu'avorteur se succèdent, et tentent de faire disparaitre l'enfant à naitre, sans succès : certes le ventre de Stella s'arrondit, mais il ne semble ne pas contenir de bébé.
Pourtant les médecins ou avorteur qui se succèdent et constatent également la grossesse, ne parviennent toutefois pas à procéder à l'avortement.
Ainsi, neuf mois plus tard, Stella donne naissance à son fils.
Il est désormais clair pour elle que le Père Noel est le père de cet enfant si bizarre.
Toute sa vie, Stella va tenter de protéger son fils, persuadée que le Père Noel l'emmènera loin d'elle, le privant ainsi de toutes les joies d'enfant, de jeune homme et enfin d'homme...
Quatre-vingts-dix ans plus tard, le fils reproche à sa mère de lui avoir gaché toute sa vie, et s'apprête, comme pour la défier, à feter son premier Noel!

Am Nikolausabend sucht ein bärtiger Mann in einem Bordell Stella - eine der Frauen - auf. Nach dem Akt verspricht der Bärtige, dass er wiederkommen und seinen Sohn holen wird. Tatsächlich wird Stella schwanger.
Bei der Geburt verspricht sie ihrem kleinen Sohn, dass sie ihn für immer beschützen und vor allem nicht zulassen wird, dass ihn der Bärtige holt. Dieses Versprechen wird das gesamte Leben von Mutter und Kind bestimmen. Sie leben in völliger Paranoia, die alljährlich am Nikolaustag ihren Höhepunkt erreicht.
90 Jahre später liegen Mutter und Sohn gemeinsam im Altersheim. Der Sohn wirft seiner Mutter vor, durch ihre Paranoia sein gesamtes Leben verdorben zu haben. Er habe es zu nichts gebracht - nicht einmal zu Bartwuchs.
Dann erscheint der Bärtige vom Anfang des Films in einem prächtigen roten Kostüm. Es ist der einzig wahre Nikolaus, der seinen Sohn aufsucht. Sie tauschen die Plätze. Der Nikolaus wird zu einem Greis, der Sohn zum Nikolaus. Er gewinnt neue Lebenskraft.
Der sterblich gewordene ehemalige Nikolaus legt sich in das Altenbett seines Sohnes. Er schaut die Mutter versöhnlich an und sie schlafen nebeneinander für immer ein. Für ihren gemeinsamen Sohn hingegen beginnt ein neues Leben als Nikolaus.
'Hurensohn' ist ein surreales Popmärchen über die Verlustangst einer Mutter und die unerwartete Lebenserfüllung ihres Sohns.

The comedy begins in a brothel in the present and ends in an old people's home in the future.
On the eve of the St Nicolas' Day celebrations, a bearded man comes to a brothel to see one of the women, Stella. After they sleep together, the bearded man promises he'll return and fetch his son. Stella does indeed end up pregnant.
She promises her little son when he's born that she will always protect him and above all that she won't let the man with the beard take him away. This promise will determine every last detail of their lives. The mother and her child live in absolute paranoia, which hits the roof every year on St Nicolas' Day.
90 years later, mother and son are both in an old people's home. The son reproaches his mother for having ruined his whole life with her paranoia. He hasn't achieved a thing - not even a beard.
Then the bearded man from the start of the film appears in a magnificent red costume. It's the one true Nicolas, in search of his son. They swap places. Nicolas becomes an old man and the son becomes Nicolas, recovering his strength.
The former Nicolas, who's now mortal, lies down in his son's bed as an old man. He looks kindly at the mother and they fall asleep for ever side by side. Their son however starts a new life as Nicolas.
'Son of a Whore' is a surrealistic pop fable about a mother's fear of loss and her son's unexpected new life.
