In context of "Soundbodyspacesound" and under direction of Bernhard Leitner we featured our auditory-architectural work "vertikal (Punkt-Fläche | Fläche-Punkt)" by Kyran Bayani and Max Kullmann (hands on sound):
Inside the huge "Lichthof" of the Technical University Berlin, hundreds of glass panels reflected the narrow-band clanking sounds, almost like a huge parabolic reflector.
The shivering bursts of bricks and the crumpling tearing of wrapping paper is projected into the air - falling back from the middle of the dome, the ear gets an idea of the acoustic height of the room.

Transmediale, CTM and Create Berlin invited to the Digital Art and Sound Weekend (DAS Weekend). We contributed with a couple of installations, a talk, a screening and a club night at Mezcaleria Lupita. We got the chance to invade and hack Lupita, transforming it into the hands on sound-stage for the whole weekend. We put up four sound installations that staged, interpreted and orchestrated Lupita´s surroundings and its specific sonic atmosphere above Kottbusser Tor in different ways. We toyed around with the acoustics of the balcony with its beautiful view, seized the interieur and architectural shape of the location itself with acoustic and electroacoustic works. photos by Christoph Meyer

In the Installation "birdhouse musicbox" the connection between motion and sound is explored in a simple yet intriguing way. It uses a playful approach to shaping sound through the use of a simple interface - a swing hanging in a tree. The visitor can rely on a highly familiar mechanism that is rooted in childhood experiences. By the meditative and repetitive movement a musical gestalt is generated and unfolds out of the chaos: notes reconnect, the velocity rises and eventually the musical fragments reassemble into the original track - a Fuge of J. S. Bach.
