Die Papiergestalt führt mittels ihres humanoiden Handlangers Tobi Bergmann diverse Gestaltungsarbeiten aus. Hierbei liegt der Schwerpunkt auf der Gestaltung von Druckerzeugnissen unterschiedlichster Art. Buchgestaltung, Illustration, Layout, Editorial Design und Plakatgestaltung sind nur einige Betätigungsfelder. Seit 1982 zeichne, collagiere, klebe und schraube ich im Auftrag visueller Gefälligkeit. Erste Gestaltungserfahrungen sammelte ich mit Bastelschere und Buntstiften im Kinderzimmer, später im Kunstunterricht und nach einem 10 monatigen Praktikum bei der Agentur "feedmee"-Mediendesign in Köln, folgte ein Studium im Bereich Kommunikationsdesign mit Schwerpunkt Illustration.

The "Papiergestalt" carries out divers design compositions by means of his humanoid henchman Tobi Bergmann. The main issue is the design of printed material of all varieties. Book printing, illustration, layout, editorial design, poster design are only some examples of my field of activities. The first approaches to design I experienced when I used the pair of scissors and colored pencils in my child's room, later when I attended the art lessons in school and after the internship at the agency "feedmee"- media art in cologne, I studied graphic design with the main focus on illustration.

Le « Papiergestalt » est l'auteur de diverses créations graphiques produites grâce à l'aide de son acolyte humain Tobi Bergmann. L'idée principale du projet réside en l'impression de différents matériaux.  Edition de livres, illustrations, mise en page, création d'affiche sont des exemples qui s'inscrivent dans mon champ d'activité. Ma première approche du design remonte à mon enfance alors que j'utilisais une paire de ciseaux et des crayons de couleurs. Puis ce furent les cours d'art plastique à l'école et plus tard, mon stage au sein de l'agence « feedme » (activité centrée sur le media art à Cologne). J'ai étudié le graphisme en me spécialisant dans l'illustration.

Andree Volkmann lebt und arbeitet als freier Künstler und Illustrator in Berlin. Zeichnen ist für ihn Akt der Hommage und der Emanzipation. Bildverehrung und -zerstörung gehen ineinander über. Themen wie Tragik, Kult und Wiederholung tauchen immer wieder auf. Aus seinen Zeichnungen entstehen neben Animationen und  Fanzines auch Video-Installationen oder Seiden-Carrées. Für Arte befreite er die Tiere aus dem Zoo.

Ilona Fioravanti is a 3rd-year-student Graphic Arts and Design in Visual Communication at the ESAG Penninghen in Paris. She devotes her time to her school projects but offers her services in parallel as a freelance graphic designer. Ilona focuses particularly on the notion of concept and gives interest to the small detail that makes the difference. She focuses her work on visual identity, posters, editorial design and typography, shapes and colors and combines creativity and efficiency.

Christophe Blanc parfois Valparess, est auteur de dessins et de films d'animations pour les adultes et la jeunesse. Il s'essaie aussi  au maniement des nouvelles technologies dans des installations multimédia qu'il met en place avec le musicien Jean-François Oliver. Christophe Blanc est née en 1974 dans un minuscule village du Sud de la France. Issu du milieu agricole il développe trés vite un goût prononcé pour les légumes et la viande. En 2000 après des études à la prestidigitateuse Ecole des Magies des Beaux Arts de Toulouse il se lance dans l'aventure collective D-Tracks, un "coolectif" d'artistes contemporains associant la pratique vidéo et les arts de la table. En 2003 , il s'installe à Paris où il se lance dans une carrière solo d'illustrateur/réalisateur pour la publicité, associé à l'agence "Creative Syndicate" il fera entre autre des films pour les marques Fiat , Conforama ... Parallèlement il développe sous le nom de VALPARESS un univers graphique trash et rigolo ou se mélangent dessins, films d'animation et terre cuite, ces travaux le feront travailler avec des noms prestigieux de l'underground français comme "le Dernier cri" "Art factory" et des groupes comme "Gilles de la tourette" , "Clan Edison"... Depuis 2007 il vit et travaille à Nîmes, petite bourgade taurine du Sud la France. In 2000, after carrying on magical studies at the famous Ecole des Magies des Beaux Arts in Toulouse, he involves himself into the collective D-Tracks. The action group defines itself as a "coollective" of contemporary artists combining video art and gastronomy.  In 2003, he settles in Paris where he starts a solo career as illustrator/ filmmaker for advertizing. He works in collaboration with the agency "Creative Syndicate" and directs films for brands such as Fiat or Conforama. Meanwhile, he develops -under VALPARESS cover- a trash and funny  graphic style where animated films mix up with terracota and drawings. The quality of his pieces will lead him to work with the most famous underground French artists such as "le Denier cri", "Art factory" and bands such as "Gilles de la Tourette", "Clan Edison". Since 2007, he has been living and working in Nîmes, a small town in south of France that smells bullfighting. Florence Bamberger est une directrice artistique et illustratrice indépendante vivant à Paris. Elle a été diplômée major en Juin 2011 de l'ESAG Penninghen,  pour sa thèse 361° en art graphique et direction artistique. Auparavant, elle a étudié à Central Saint Martins à Londres où elle a fait son bachelor en illustration et animation.  Elle a travaillé pour des clients tels que Parfums Givenchy, PMU, Ballantine's whisky et Bic, et a exposé à la Tokyo Designers Week 2010 et au London Flash Festival 2006.

Illustrator, Kommunikationsdesigner oder Typografie-Designer... Es scheint, als wenn Jean-Charles Couderc ein vielseitiger Künstler ist - befreit von allen ästhetischen Grenzen. Seine Arbeit ist stark von der Moderne und gleichzeitig von der Nostalgie geprägt. Diese beiden gegensätzlichen Begriffe formen eine freie, aber rigorose Typografie im Anblick der "wilden"Welt - als ein sich abhebendes Luftschloss. Inspiriert von diesem Traum entwickelt er in seinem Grafikstudio "Nouvelle New wave" und mit seinen Illustrationen der Kollektion "Tanra" einen eigenen grafischen Stil.

Jean-Charles Couderc arbeitet als Art Direktor und versucht stets Handwerk mit digitaler Welt zu verbinden. Er studierte drei Jahre in Marseille und Brüssel Typografie. Die Ausbildung weckte in ihm den Impuls sein eigenes, kreatives und vielseitiges Arbeitsumfeld zu schaffen.

Illustrator, graphic designer or typographer...  It seems that Jean-Charles Couderc is a heterogeneous artist freed from aesthetic  confines. His work has been shaped both by modernity and nostalgia. This antagonistic couple has been designing  a free but rigorous typography at stake with a wild world just like a pipe dream ready for action. The graphic codes of the musical and visual studio "Nouvelle New wave" as long as the identity of the illustrations of the "Tanra" collection have been designed thanks to this dream like vision.  Jean-Charles Couderc works at the studio as artistic director willing to link craftwork  to digital world. He trained in Marseille and studied typography for three years in Brussels. This apprenticeship triggered off the desire to create an independant, creative and hybrid structure.

Dessinateur, graphiste ou lettriste, Jean-Charles Couderc est un artiste composite libéré des divisions esthétiques. Modernité, nostalgie esquissent une typographie libre et rigoureuse aux prises avec un univers sauvage ressuscité, une chimère prête à en découdre. C'est en installant les codes de ce rêve éveillé que se développe l'identité graphique du studio musical et visuel "Nouvelle New wave" ainsi que les illustrations de la collection Tanra. Il y travaille aujourd'hui en tant que directeur artistique, soucieux d'établir des correspondances entre un travail manuel et le monde du digital. Un passage à Marseille et trois années de typographie à Bruxelles, auront forgé le désir de ce designer hybride d'établir une structure indépendante et riche en créativité.

Mirko Reisser (geb. 1971 in Lüneburg, lebt und arbeitet in Hamburg) ist seit 1992 als selbständiger Graffiti-Künstler unter dem Künstlernamen DAIM tätig. Um die intensive Auseinandersetzung mit den Darstellungsmöglichkeiten seines Künstlernamens zu demonstrieren, ihn in eine Einheit zu bringen und zu perfektionieren, geht der Hamburger Künstler "graffiti-untypische" Wege. Man könnte meinen, seine "Styles" brechen aus den Mauern hervor, um auf Leinwänden zu explodieren, photorealistischen Serien Platz zu machen und schließlich als Plastiken zu neuem Leben zu erwachen. Mit dem Studium der Freien Künste in der Schweiz bekam Reisser Gelegenheit, seine Interessen neu zu definieren. Neben Arbeiten mit der Sprühdose ließ er seinen Namen nun in Kupferstichen und Linoldrucken, Claymodellen, Skulpturen aus Holz und Beton immer wieder neu entstehen. Durch Kreativität und Schaffensdrang ergaben sich schnell Kontakte zu Gleichgesinnten; Seine Mitarbeit verhalf dem höchsten Graffiti der Welt zum Eintrag ins Guinness-Buch der Rekorde, er wurde Mitglied internationaler Künstlergruppen, zählt weltweit zu den renommiertesten Graffiti-Künstlern. Arbeitsreisen treiben ihn um den halben Erdball und Vernissagen reihen sich an Einladungen, an Besuche, an Aufträge; seine entferntesten Kunden wohnen in Japan, Neuseeland und Australien. Mirko Reisser ist Mitbegründer der Ateliergemeinschaft "getting-up", die unter anderem die erfolgreichen "Urban Discipline"-Ausstellungen organisierten.

Mirko Reisser (born 1971 in Lündeburg, lives and works in Hamburg) is a self-emplyed graffiti artist known by the name DAIM since 1992. To show his intensive work with the illustration facilities of his name and to get it down to pat the graffiti artist works in an unusual way. Someone could say that his style breaks the walls to explode on the canvas, to give place to his photorealistic series and to make them finally as sculptures alive. His study in fine arts gave Reisser the possibility to define his interests. He did not only worked with spray cans, he also experimented with other materials: copper printing, clay modeling, working with wood and concrete. Due to his creativity he soon had a wide number of contacts of artists. A famous graffiti piece succeeded to get into the "guiness book of records", he became a member of several groups artists. DAIM can be considered as the most known graffiti artist in the world: He works worldwide, he is invited to several openings, gets big offers of clients who for example from Japan, New Zealand and Australia. Mirko Reisser is founder of the atelier community "getting up" which is responsible for the well-known exhibition "Urban Discipline".

Mirko Reisser, né en 1971 à Lündeburg, vit et travaille à Hambourg. C'est un graffeur plus connu sous le nom de DAIM. Afin de donner une légitimité à sa riche production et perpétrer l'art de l'illustration à travers son nom, DAIM travaille de manière particulière. On pourrait dire que son que son style déborde des murs pour aller s'installer sur les toiles, afin de d'offrir un support à des series proches de la photo et les transformer en sculptures vivantes. Ses études en arts plastiques ont donné à Reisser la possibilité de définir ses interêts. Il ne travaille pas qu'avec des bombes de peintures, il s'essaye aussi à d'autres outils : la gravure sur cuivre, l'argile, il travaille avec le bois et des matériaux résistants. Grâce à sa créativité, il se fait contacter par de nombreux artistes qui travaillent de la même manière. Ses graffs ont été publiés par le Guiness Book des records. Il est membre de plusieurs collectifs artistiques. DAIM peut être considéré comme un des graffeurs les plus connus au monde, il reçoit des commandes du Japon, de la Nouvelle Zélande ou d'Australie. Il travaille dans le monde entier, il est invité à des vernissages dans le monde entier. Mirko Reisser est le fondateur de la communauté "Getting up" qui a realisé la célèbre exposition "Urban Discipline".

Bettina Henni studierte an der französischen Kunsthochschule Arts-Décoratifs in Strasbourg, wo sie sich ihren kreativen Spielplatz aufbaute und eigene Kunstprojekte realisierte. Inspiriert von Typographie, hat sie ein sogenanntes "Werkzeug-Vokabular" geschaffen: Mit selbst gemachten Druckschablonen aus Holz, Zink oder Kupfer kann sie Bilder verschieden kombinieren und anschließend drucken, so wie wir Buchstaben zu Wörtern zusammensetzen und sie in einem Text integrieren. Der Weg dorthin war ein langer Prozess, dem viele Zeichnungen und Druckversuche vorausgingen. Bettina Henni entdeckt, dass das ganze Universum eigentlich aus essentiellen Formen besteht, die wie unsere verschiedenen Denkmuster zusammengehören.

Bettina Henni a étudié aux Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg où elle met en place ses nombreux projets de livres et crée son terrain de jeu. Sur le modèle de l'impression de caractères typographiques, elle se constitue un vocabulaire-outil : des matrices d'impression en bois, en zinc ou en cuivre afin de combiner, et imprimer les images comme l'on combine les lettres dans le langage et comme l'on imprimait du texte en typographie. Ce long travail de recherche, prend forme petit à petit, à travers ses nombreux dessins et ses images imprimées. Bettina découvre que de l'atome à l'animal en passant par les plantes, et jusqu'au corps, l'univers est constitué de formes fondamentales qui s'articulent comme les formes de notre pensée.

Bettina Henni has studied at the french art school Arts-Décoratifs in Strasbourg where she started developing her projects and building her own creative playground. In the wake of font printing, she has created a "tool-vocabulary": printing templates made of wood, zinc or copper made to combine and print images just as we combine letters in words and as we used to print text in typography. This long investigation has been shaped step by step through many drawings and printed images. Bettina has discovered that from the atom to the animal, from plants to the body, the whole universe is made of essential forms that go together such as our ideas design our reflexion.

Claire Fauché, geboren 1986, hat ihr Diplom in Grafikdesign an der ESAG Penninghen im Juni 2009 abgeschlossen. Nachdem sie im Verpackungsdesign, Corporate Identity, Konzept-Marketing gearbeitet hat, hat sie ihre eigentliche Berufung gefunden: Illustration und Animation. Sie gestaltete beispielsweise eine Animation für das internationale Parfüm-Museum (ein Bereich, den sie noch mehr erkunden möchte) und entwickelte eine interaktive Geschichte für "La Souris Qui Raconte". Sie illustriert momentan Kinderbücher, konzipiert und illustriert Serien aus Tellern und arbeitet mit Schablonen.

Claire Fauché, born in 1986, got her degree of Art Direction-Graphic Designer in june 2009 from ESAG-Penninghen. After working in packaging, visual identity and concept branding, she finally came back to her true calling of illustration and animation. She directed an animation for the International Museum of perfume (a domain she wants to keep exploring) and an interactive story for La Souris Qui Raconte. She's, now, illustrating children books, creating series of illustrated plates and working on pattern design.

Après avoir touché à l'édition commerciale, le packaging, l'identité visuelle et le concept branding pendant une année de missions dans diverses agences, elle revient vers ses racines: l'illustration et l'animation. Pour dessiner, Claire combine un tracé à l'encre noire, un dessin épuré, une poésie et une pointe d'humour. Elle a ainsi réalisé une animation pour le Musée International de la Parfumerie (un domaine qu'elle souhaite continuer d'explorer) et une histoire interactive pour La Souris Qui Raconte. Elle travaille actuellement sur des livres-papier pour la jeunesse, peint des assiettes qu'elle met en vente et peaufine sa collection de motifs papier-peint.

DE Mit einfachen Mitteln in konzentrierter Form erzählt der Animator Martin Schmidt Geschichten aus seinem Leben. Besonderen Fokus legt er dabei auf das Schauspiel seiner Figuren. Seine Filme wurden auf internationalen Filmfestivals ausgezeichnet und sind in DVD- und Buchpublikationen erschienen.

DE Ich bin eine 24-jährige Designerin, die in Paris lebt und ihr Studium gerade abgeschlossen hat. Ich liebe es mit verschiedenen Medien zu spielen und mich darin auszuprobieren, wie zum Beispiel in Illustration, Fotografie und ihrem eigenen Magazin "Zine". Ich entwickle gerade experimentelle Herangehensweisen für Repräsentationen durch das Malen und die Herausgaben. Mein Bestreben ist es eine neue Dialektik zwischen runden, gemalten, spontanen Formen und geometrischen Formen zu erarbeiten. In dem "Zine" Magazin versuche ich Narrationen und Kurzgeschichten zu sammeln. Ich arbeite außerdem mit dem lebendigen Material der Fotografie. Ich beschäftige mich zudem mit Grafik-Festivals, wie zum Beispiel das Fanzine Festival in Paris, wo ich meine Serie von vier "Zines" präsentiert habe, oder das "Pictoplasma- Le chainon manquant", das von Gaité Lyrique in Paris betreut wurde. Ich nahm außerdem an dem finnischen typographischen Projekt "YoFrekles" des Kollektivs "Kokoromoi" teil, wo ich mehrere Schriften vorstellt habe. Ich habe eine 144-seitige Printausgabe über die aktuelle Tour der französischen Rockband "Indochine" mit gesammelten Fotos und Notizen des Bandmitglieds Nicola Sirkis gestaltet. "Les petits notes du Meteor Tour" ist ein Reisetagebuch, das von JC Lattès im November 2010 herausgegeben worden ist. Ich liebe norwegische und niederländische Grafik, genauso wie die Illustratoren Moonassi oder Robert Franck Hunter. Momentan bin ich ein Freelancer, ich bin verantwortlich für verschiedene Herausgaben und arbeite an visuellen Erscheinungsbildern. Ich nehme gerade zudem an einem Workshop in Webdesign teil.  

EN I am a 24-year-old graphic designer based in Paris ans. I have just finished my studies. I love to mix different media : illustration, photography and « zine » (self-published magazine). I am still developing an experimental approach of representation through drawing and edition. My quest leads me to establish a dialectic between round drawn spontaneous shapes and geometric and primary shapes. Through the zine and edition process I intend to gather distinct narrations and short stories. I also work on tight as a lively material through photography. I am involved in graphic shows such as the Fanzine Festival in Paris where I presented a serie of four zines, or « Pictoplasma-Le chainon manquant » hosted by la Gaité Lyrique in Paris. I was also part of the Finnish typographic and collaborative project « YoFrekles » by the collective « Kokoromoi » where I showed several font tests. I made a 144 pages edition about French rock band Indochine's latest tour gathering pictures and notes written by the leader, Nicola Sirkis. « Les petites notes du Meteor Tour » is a travel diary published by JC Lattès in November 2010. I love Norvegean and Dutch graphism as much as illustrators such as Moonassi or Robert Franck Hunter. For now, I am a free-lance and I respond to several editorial commissions and work on  visual identities. In the meantime, I follow a training course in web design.

FR Etant jeune graphiste de 24 ans, j'habite Paris, et je viens de finir mes études en design graphique. J'aime travailler avec différentes pratiques, autant l'illustration, la photographie, que le zine. Je suis encore dans une démarche d'expérimentation dans la représentation par le dessin et l'édition. Je suis dans une recherche entre un travail de la forme molle, dessinée, spontanée, et de la forme géométrique et basique. Je cherche à assembler et à faire cohabiter par l'édition et à travers des zines, des narrations différentes et des petites histoires. Le travail de la lumière comme forme "vivante" dans la photographie est aussi une partie de mon travail. Il m'arrive de participer à des contributions graphiques (zines, illustrations, typographie...), dont une série de 4 zines pour le Fanzine Festival organisé à Paris, une illustration pour "Pictoplasma - Le Chainon Manquant" à la Gaité Lyrique à Paris, ainsi que quelque caractères typographiques pour YoFrekles, projet de typographie collaborative par les membres finlandais "Kokoromoi". J'ai aussi réalisé une édition de 144 pages, relantant la dernière tournée d'Indochine, par des photos etdes notes écrites par Nicola Sirkis. "Les petites notes du Meteor Tour" de Nicola Sirkis est comme un carnet de bord ou de voyage à lire et/ou découvrir, publié chez  JC Lattès en Novembre 2010. J'aime le graphisme norvégien et hollandais, autant que des illustrateurs comme moonassi ou Robert franck Hunter. Je suis pour le moment en free-lance pour quelques commandes éditoriales et identités visuelles, tout en étant en formation en alternance en web design.
