IHRY: The inventor of '2-3 streets' (2-3 Straßen)
Ruhrgespenst: The inventor of what?
IHRY: Wasn't it you who haunted the "Brennstoffzelle" an installation in Mühlheim in 2010. This installation was accessible within the project '2-3 Straßen' wasn't it?
Ruhrgespenst: Was that the case?
IHRY: Most definetely.
Ruhrgespenst: Well I don't believe that '2-3 Straßen' was that important. Nobody has talked about that and if I hadn't torn this thing down in the first place it wouldn't be worth mentioning now. My haunting was terrific though but only possible because of this extraordinarily good 'Brennstoffzelle'. Unbelievable, but to be honest, it was only coincidence why it struck the ones in Mühlheim. This piece of art has its own powerful halo, the particular place where it was exhibited wasn't important really. The 'Brennstoffzelle' has been exhibited in many cities so far but I went for that in Mühlheim. It was more a question of accessibility or mobility if you like, this street project was not of any interest for me at all.
IHRY: Of no interest? Well... But please tell me, why was this installation so extraordinary?
Ruhrgespenst: Have you ever seen 60.000 postits in an appartment which were all posted to this appartment? No! See, that's insane. It's even more insane when you rip them off. Doing that was important! Doing that was necessary as well! Now it's gone! This installation.
I'd do anything to do the same thing in a museum with a Baselitz.
IHRY: Would you really?
